OSHA recommends Outreach Training Programs as an orientation to occupational safety and health for workers covered by OSHA 29 CFR 1910. The OSHA 10-hour General Industry Outreach Training course is intended for workers, especially those just entering the workforce, in manufacturing, electrical, factory, warehouse, service industry, healthcare, storage and other general industry settings. This course provides information about worker rights, employer responsibilities, and provides basic awareness training on the recognition, avoidance, abatement, and prevention of workplace hazards. The course is taught by an Authorized OSHA Outreach Trainer and upon completion, students will receive an official OSHA 10-hour General Industry wallet size card.
Class Length: 1 and 1/2 days. Second day of class will be shorter.
Please Note: Due to OSHA regulations, there is a minimum class size of 3 students required to run a class.
