The Confined Space course covers the safety and health hazards associated with confined spaces and entry into permit-required confined spaces. The course focuses upon OSHA’s permit-required confined space entry standards for Construction and General Industry. Students will learn how to identify permit-required and non-permit-required confined spaces, use of instrumentation to evaluate atmospheric hazards, ventilation methods, signage requirements, duties of entrants, attendants, and entry supervisors, and the requirements of the permit process.
Upon completion of the course, successful students will receive a course completion certificate.
