About Us

Edmund S. Karl Jr. left a successful career in engineering management and founded the Karl Environmental Group in 1989. From the very beginning clients requested broader services and capabilities as regulations imposed new requirements in the environmental arena. Karl Environmental is a Lead-Safe Certified Firm, Karl Environmental Group provides safety consulting to PA and NJ. Our services include lead water testing, asbestos testing and asbestos abatement, environmental site assessment, lead paint inspection, mold sampling, industrial hygene, and other environmental consulting services. We also provide various certifications such as OSHA HAZWOPER certification, General Industry certification, Construction Industry certification, EPA Lead Renovator Certification, First Aid certification, and basic lief support courses.Karl Environmental Group responded to that need and the environmental consulting firm was an immediate success. Capable employees were added to the company one at a time, which allowed services to broaden and the company to earn additional licenses and certifications.
