The 30-hour Construction Industry class provides information on workers’ rights, and employer responsibilities, as well as the recognition, avoidance, abatement, and prevention of safety and health hazards on worksites. The class delves into these topics in greater depth with a variety of training techniques, and uses an expanded list of topics associated with worksite hazards. The class also covers topics on safety and health programs and management topics that look at the cost of injury and illness to the company ‘bottom line”. The class includes six hours on the OSHA listed top four construction/demolition causes of injury and fatalities: falls, electrocution, struck-by and caught-in equipment.
This class is taught by an Authorized OSHA Outreach Trainer and upon completion, students will receive an official OSHA 30-hour Construction wallet size card.
Class Length: 4 days
Please Note: Due to OSHA regulations, there is a minimum class size of 3 students required to run a class.
