4-hour training class in accordance with OSHA’s Powered Industrial Trucks Standard on how to safely operate an aerial telehandler.

This one-day class provides comprehensive training for anyone wanting to become certified as a Telehandler operator. Participants will be trained in accordance with OSHA’s Powered Industrial Trucks Standard on how to safely operate a Rough-Terrain Variable Reach Telehandler. The class includes a full hands-on demonstration of a telehandler, in which students will practice and be evaluated upon maneuvering techniques, backing up, crab-walking, stacking and un-stacking. The class-based portion of the class includes training on how to perform pre-operation checks, locating the vehicle’s operator manual, performing a function test, and inspecting personal protective equipment.
All equipment and materials are provided by Karl Environmental Group at our training center in Reading, Pennsylvania.
